HRDC

Human Resources Development cell conducts regular counseling sessions to guide The students in the right direction. The sessions are aimed to achieve an overall Development of the student are to make him to become an all round personality.

Seminars /guest lectures / workshops etc are arranged periodically and resource Persons who are specialists in the field are invited to impart knowledge an Technical subject.Training on employabily skills is regularly arranged.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME-"SKILLEDGE"

Pavendar Bharathidasan college of Engineering and Technology,Trichy signed an MoU with ICT Academy of Tamil nadu,Chennai.As per MoU terms,the college has launched a skill enhancement programme titled "SKILLEDGE"for the college students.

"SKILLEDGE"is a skill development initiative dedicated to create and enhance employability skills among the graduating students in both Engineering and Arts & Science colleges.

"SKILLEDGE"programme provides class room lectures to the students on industry relevant technologies and soft skills.Students attend regular tests and their progress is assessed.Seminars and guest lectures are arranged by ICTACT on a regular basis.Students have an access to ICTACT online learning portal.Placement opportunities for skilledge certified students are also provided.

Currently "Skilledge"programme is conducted for 2 batches of our students.2010-14 & 2011-15 batch students are getting the benefit of this initiative of the college.It will be extended to other students in the course of time.

India Career Portal

This placement portal automates the placement process at the college. Employers can use this portal to communicate with the College Placement Office and through necessary permissions manage campus recruitment and hire students and alumni online. ICTAcademy

Pavendar Bharathidasan College of Engg. & Tech., Mathur, Tiruchirappalli organized a half a day seminar on “Interview Techniques & corporate expectations from students” by Mr.D.Aravind, Assistant Manager (HR), KG Information Systems Private Limited , Coimbatore at college auditorium at 10.00 am on 04.10.2012. Nearly 500 final year B.E and B.Tech students of PABCET& PABIIT participated in the program.The programme was arranged with assistance from ICT Academy of Tamilnadu,Chennai.
